Movie Game - ANSWERS

A couple of my friends here in Chattanooga have posted this movie quote game. I LOVE movies so I thought I would join in.
Here are the rules:

Pick 10 of your favorite movies (I actually picked 12).
Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
Post them on your blog for everyone to guess.
Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie. (I can't find a strike-through command, so I'm just going to italicize the ones that have been guessed.)
And one rule for those of you filling it out:
Looking them up is cheating, please don’t.
So here are quotes from 10 of my favorite movies… Your job is to name the movie each quote comes from. You can make a guess by leaving a comment, or email me directly. I can't wait to see who guesses!

1. But I'd like the pie heated and I don't want the ice cream on top, I want it on the side, and I'd like strawberry instead of vanilla if you have it, if not then no ice cream just whipped cream but only if it's real; if it's out of the can then nothing. - LeeAnne got this one...it's from When Harry Met Sally

2. Well, it was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were suppose to be together... and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home... only to no home I'd ever known... I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like... magic. - LeeAnne again! It's from Sleepless in Seattle

3. A toast to my big brother George: The richest man in town. My cousin BJ got this one from It's a Wonderful Life.

4. I had. A bad. Experience. The Italian Job - Tanner and I say this to each other all the time because we think it is so funny. You have to see the movie to get it.

5. You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life. Groundhog Day - I'm surprised nobody got this one!

6. The truth is I gave my heart away a long time ago, my whole heart, and I never really got it back. - My friend Marcy in Florida got this quote from Sweet Home Alabama.

7. Story of my life. I always get the fuzzy end of the lollipop. Some Like It Hot - I figured nobody would get this one. It's really old but SO funny.

8. My Dearest Allie. I couldn't sleep last night because I know that it's over between us. I'm not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I'll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees, learning from each other and growing in love. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me. That's what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I'll be seeing you. Noah - This one goes to BJ too. It's from the Notebook.

9. Do you believe in love at first sight? Nah, I betcha don't, you're probably too sensible for that. Or have you ever, like, seen somebody? And you knew that, if only that person *really* knew you, they would, well, they would of course dump the perfect model that they were with, and realize that YOU were the one that they wanted to, just, grow old with. Have you ever fallen in love with someone you haven't even talked to? Have you ever been so alone you spend the night confusing a man in a coma? - My friend Emily, who just started her own blog, got this one as well as Alicia. It's from While You Were Sleeping.

10. You don't have to. She's right here. And she misses you. Look, you don't know me from Adam. But I was a better man with you, as a woman... than I ever was with a woman, as a man. You know what I mean? I just gotta learn to do it without the dress. At this point, there might be an advantage to my wearing pants. The hard part's over, you know? We were already... good friends. Tootsie - such a funny movie!

11. Hey, psycho - we're not gonna discuss this, OK, it's over. Please get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up. - BJ again! This one is The Wedding Singer. We obviously like a lot fo the same movies!

12. In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and - SNAP - the job's a game! - Emily again. We both love musicals, and Mary Poppins is one of the best!

Hallelujah, What a Savior!

We just had a wonderful Easter Sunday celebrating Jesus Our Savior. On Saturday night, I went to the Passion Play at Oakland Baptist Church in Corinth, MS. It was a wonderful performance that really made this Easter special for me. It's so important to be reminded of how Jesus paid the ultimate price for our salvation. Sunday morning the preacher said that 64 people had already received Christ as their Savior during the first two performances and there were still two more performances to go. Praise God!
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! I John 3:1
Here are a few pictures from our weekend in Corinth. If you're wondering why Tanner is MIA, it's because he had to work all weekend. He was the only thing missing from our wonderful Easter.
Our little bunnies!

Lindsay's hands after dying eggs

The Easter Bunny came to our house before we left for Corinth so Tanner could be with us when the girls got their baskets.

We got to see Tanner's sister Leesa's little baby Will while we were in Corinth. He and Gracie were sweet little bunnies together.

Easter morning before and after church - I wasn't able to get a good picture of the girls before church since my photo assistant Tanner was working. My dad got one of the three of us after church that was decent though.

Lindsay and Gracie with my nieces Kate and Sadie. They are so sweet to my girls, and Lindsay and Gracie just LOVE them! They all had fun hunting eggs together.

I snapped this picture after the girls' naps yesterday. I just thought it was so cute!

Easter Egg Hunts

We have been to two Easter Egg Hunts in the last two days. Yesterday, there was a lunch and an egg hunt after church at Brainerd Baptist. Lindsay had fun finding the eggs, but she was really more interested in what was inside them than anything else. She had had WAY too much chocolate by the time it was all over. Gracie loved eating the eggs and digging them out of the basket. She was all smiles!

Today we had an Easter Egg Hunt with our playgroup. Tanner was off so Gracie stayed home with him since the shindig was taking place during her morning nap. Lindsay and I had a great time though! Here are some pics for you to enjoy!

Hunting eggs! We decided no candy, but Lindsay still found some fun things inside her eggs, like bouncy balls and hair clips.

A Fun Weekend

This weekend our friends from Florence, AL, the Smiths, came to visit us. Ashley and Micah have two little girls also, Abigail and Mollie. Ashley and I had not seen each other in over a year so we were so excited to finally be able to get together. On Monday, we took the girls to the TN Aquarium. The girls had a great time! They also had fun each night when they all piled into the tub together. Poor little Gracie just had to watch. She'll be joining them before too long!

Build A Bear

Yesterday, we made out first trip to the Build-A-Bear Workshop. A few weeks ago, I noticed that I was constantly correcting Lindsay about the same things. We made a chart for her to earn stars when she did the things she was supposed to do, like follow directions the first time, staying seated while eating, asking politely, etc. She has worked SOOOOO hard and her reward was going to Build-A-Bear. She had a wonderful time and was so cute selecting her bear and dressing it up.

Lindsay with her completed chart...she was so proud of herself!

We tried on about 10 outfits before we found the perfect one.

All done and ready to go!

Cutie Pie!

Our little Gracie is really getting a personality! She is such a SWEET baby. She has just started pulling up on things and cruising. Here are a few pictures that I've gotten the last week of her standing. As you can see, she gets very excited and is very proud of herself!

This one is my very favorite!

Trip to the Dentist

***KEEP LOOKING...I MADE SEVERAL POSTS TONIGHT***

Yesterday, Lindsay had her first trip to the dentist. She was such a big girl! We saw Dr. Whitmire and at his office the kids have to go back to see him by themselves. The nurse came to get Lindsay, and she just walked right back there! Tanner and I were in shock. I mean she did not bat an eye. Afterwards, Tanner and I went back and saw her and got to take some pictures. Tanner and I were definitely a proud mommy and daddy. When we left I took her picture at the door to the office. She needed her sunglasses because it was so bright outside...she was too cool.

Growing and Growing

Our little Gracie girl is getting so big. She isn't crawling yet, but she is so on the verge that it will be any day now. Here are just a few random pictures of her lately. She has been trying to get her top two front teeth for a while, but they are taking their time. She has just started saying "da da" and "bababa." She is such a sweet little baby! Her smile will brighten your day.

Silly Girl!

The other day, I put Lindsay in her room for "Play Alone Time" (this is what we do now that naps for her are a thing of the past). I had laid out some clothes that I was going to pack away because we weren't wearing them anymore. Well, Lindsay got into them. When I came upstairs to get her this is what I saw:

She had found a Halloween shirt from last fall and a pair of Gracie's pants that are size 6-12 months! They actually fit her except they looked like knickers instead of pants. She even had the pants on backwards which really added to the ensemble. She thought it was the funniest thing ever. This girl loves a good laugh, and it is the highlight of her day if she can make you laugh too!

Lindsay is 3!!!

Last month, we celebrated Lindsay's 3rd birthday. I cannot believe how fast these three years have gone by! I got Lindsay a princess cake. We see it displayed everytime we go to Publix, and she always gets so excited to see it so I thought I would surprise her with it. She was so funny when she saw it. She just stood there with her hand on hip and a little smirk on her face while we sang "Happy Birthday." She got a bike for her birthday and a set of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys. She loved everything.
We had a birthday party in Corinth the weekend after her birthday. This was the first year that she was able to celebrate with all of our families. We had the party at Pizza Grocery, and it turned out to be really fun. Lindsay loved it. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share from the party because I left my camera at home! I felt like such a horrible mother. Luckily, my mom and Tanner's mom took lots of pics so I can get some of theirs.
Lindsay could not have had a more wonderful birthday! We love you, Linds!
